Noblewood Group Showcases the Results of Its Operations in Montenegro

Noblewood Group is a relatively recent addition to the Montenegrin business landscape. However, the company has already established itself as a staple of the local economy and keeps rapidly evolving.

It has a reputation as a responsible employer, promotes its homeland on a global level, and serves as guidance for other foreign businesses that consider investing in this European state.

In this post, we will be taking a closer look at Noblewood Group and its recent showcase at Montenegro’s Open Media Day. Just keep reading!

Openness to Mass Media

On December 13, 2023, a group of journalists arrived at the Group’s facilities in Montenegro to attend the Open Media Day. It was their first chance in 8 months to see the factory from the inside.

Dmitri Nasalskiy, Marketing Director and Business Leader of the company, answered their questions and guided them around. He shared with the guests the most informative facts about the company — and we would like to retell them in this article, too.

How Noblewood Transforms the International Image of Montenegro

Previously, the country used to export electricity, raw aluminum, and copper ore. Besides, it has ambitious plans for exporting renewable energy — this sector is currently receiving large investments.

The production of the famous Beluga drink in Montenegro has put the country on the map of premium goods manufacturers. Each bottle’s label proudly displays its Montenegrin origin, reminding consumers worldwide of its source. No matter where people consume the drinks, they will always remember where the latter comes from.

Montenegro, recognized as the world’s first ecological state, is committed to protecting its environment. This commitment makes it an ideal location for Noblewood, which uses top-notch organic ingredients in its drinks.

Noblewood’s operations span several countries, but its heart lies in Montenegro, where it produces, bottles, and manages its products, exporting them to over 160 nations. The U.S., the U.K., Israel, Italy, France, and Germany are its biggest markets.

Its strategic location enables efficient transport across Europe and global shipping from the Bar port. The company has brought in over 38 million EUR in investments to Montenegro and plans to continue this growth.

Noblewood is active in marketing, promoting its brands and Montenegro through campaigns, interviews, and industry events. These efforts are positioning Montenegro as a hallmark of luxury.

Impact on the Local Labor Market

The producer of the famous Beluga has revealed the following statistics:

  • The factory has already released more than 2.6 million bottles
  • The goal is to deliver 6.5 million bottles annually and to expand the product portfolio
  •  Its Montenegrin team currently counts 214 professionals, 172 of which are employed in Niksic and 42 in Tivat
  • In two years, 400 staff members will be working for the company
  • 90% of specialists have full-time contracts

As for the remaining 10% of members, the company usually needs them in the busiest months, such as the last quarter of the year. Then, they temporarily join the reserve.

The working conditions at the factory are highly comfortable. The Group provides its staff with uniforms, including shoes, and daily lunches with a hot meal. People deal with safe and modern equipment.

The Group pays out competitive salaries. Moreover, it contributes to the development of human capital by offering educational opportunities to the best-performing professionals. It organizes social and cultural events for its employees.

In return, the state lets the business benefit from convenient logistics, ecologically pure territory, and raw materials. The Group enables the locals, who used to be engaged predominantly in seasonal work, to get a stable source of income with decent salaries and working conditions.
